Make a Week's Worth of Bagged Meals
Every homeless client that visits the Generic Ministry van receives a brown bag meal and a bottle of water. Each meal consists of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a snack. Volunteers commit to making 80 meals for their week, which includes supplying all items, creating the meals and delivering them to our refrigerator. This is a wonderful volunteer activity for groups that include children or youths in grades K-5, as well as families or groups of adults.
Please note: This is one of our most popular volunteer activities! Because our operating group is small, we strive to fill the sandwich calendar with organizations and groups that repeat monthly or annually.
